Archos specialises in creating consumer electronics and portable digital entertainment appliances, and offers a range of innovative award winning products.

Archos was founded by Henri Crohas (‘Archos’ is an anagram of his surname) and has achieved a great deal since its inception in 1988. These achievements include the creation of the first hard disk MP3 jukebox, the world’s first PCMCIA memory card, and recently the world’s first MP3 player with integrated camera and camcorder.
